	Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority Executive Director Tentative annual salary range: $103,958 - $166,254 Plus attractive benefit package. Application Deadline: Friday, June 11, 2010. The Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority is seeking a collaborative and experienced leader to become the new Executive Director. Reporting to a Board of nine Commissioners, the new Executive Director will oversee a staff of 242 and a $121 million operating and capital budget. The Housing Authority is the successor to the Housing Authorities of Las Vegas, North Las Vegas and Clark County and manages 120 units of public and locally-developed housing and administers 9,699 units of Housing Choice Vouchers. The Authority currently has jurisdiction in all unincorporated areas of the City of Las Vegas and Clark County. The new Director must be an experienced manager who can lead a diverse group of professionals while developing and executing the vision for the future of this newly created Authority. Strong collaborative skills and the ability to forge strong relationships and be receptive to the concerns and needs of staff, community partners, and residents is essential. The ideal candidate should have a demonstrated commitment to cultural diversity and possess sound judgment, professionalism and a positive attitude. A minimum of eight years of increasingly responsible experience in all phases of a housing authority or social service agency, including five years of administrative and management experience is required. A Bachelor’s degree or related work experience equivalent to two years for every one year of education is expected. Experience in asset management of real property is desirable.
