The Housing Authority of the County of San Bernardino is looking for a SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER with excellent development and multi-tasking skills to join a great team. 

Reporting to the Assistant Executive Director, this person will be responsible to:

  • Provide supervisory responsibilities to staff members in the development department;
  • Manage the development and implementation of the department's goals, objectives, policies, procedures, etc.
  • Oversees the administration and implementation of assigned projects, such as multi-family development or apartment acquisitions;
  • Participates in project planning and project analysis including site and financial analysis, etc.;
  • Negotiates and analyzes land and property purchases;
  • Procures and oversees design consultants including architects, engineers, etc.;
  • Oversees property entitlement processes including legal real estate documents.

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent;
  • Minimum of 3 years of  high level work in real estate, finance, project management or related field; 
  • Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred;
  • Knowledge of complex legal & technical information such as real estate laws and City ordinances pertaining to land use, development zoning and infrastructure;
  • Knowledge of housing development including land use issues, environmental laws, construction techniques and entitlement processes.
  • Valid CA Drivers license

SALARY/BENEFITS

Monthly Salary:  $6,399 - $7,778 (Monthly)

Regular Full time position:  9/80 work schedule 

Benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision, PERS County Retirement (8% paid by employee), 457-B Deferred Comp Plan, Life Insurance, AD&D, 14 paid Holidays, Vacation and Sick accruals.  Additional incentive pay offered for this position.  Agency vehicle assigned full-time. 

Position is located in our Central Office in San Bernardino.
