City of Lynwood - Housing Manager Salary up to $83,311 annually. The City has recently completed a formal classification and compensation study, and is working to implement selected findings. The City provides a generous package of benefits including PERS 3% @ 60, PERS Medical, paid life insurance, dental and vision and a 4-10 work week with every Friday off. The City of Lynwood is currently seeking a Housing Manager. This position will plan, organize, and coordinate the City’s Housing Programs, including manage new housing production, coordinate and administer grant housing applications for the Home Program, housing and rental rehabilitation, and the first-time home owner program. He/she will prepare a variety of narrative, statistical, financial and annual housing reports; research grant and/or funding options, develop grant budgets, and perform related work as required. This position currently reports to the Assistant City Manager or her designee. Requirements: Five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience in implementing and/or administering housing, CDBG or similar programs in a public agency, including two (2) years of supervisory experience. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in urban planning, business, economics, public administration or a related field.
